           Day 1 Long Bay 3-15-2016

I was so excited , I couldn't wait until I got to school.Once we got to school we went to Long bay on a bus and started our activities.  For damper                    cooking we had a partner and we had to get our damper mixture and roll it onto a stick and then hold it over the gas cooker. Bush survival was great fun we had to build a shelter to stay in. We also had to make sneers to try and catch animals but no one caught anything. In my group we decided to  set up our sneer in front of a rabbit hole.It started to smell really bad. Then we discovered
that there was a skeleton of a dead bird or mouse. At first my milo was to hot so I didn't get to drink it. So before I even finished it we had to take down our tents. But after that I drank my milo but then sadly we had to go back to school for the end of the day.

My favourite parts of the day were damper cooking, milo drinking and bush survival.

Day     2 Castor bay day 3-16-2016

Today we did  raft building. We were put in teams and we had to build a raft with 5 pieces of bamboo,10 pieces of string and big milk bottles with planks stuck in them.My team didn't do to well though because we came last in the race, and we got disqualified . I fell of the raft as soon as we got in the water. But there were some rules like you couldn't  put your feet on the floor  .So I was pushing the raft for mostly the whole way. But there was also a challenge . The challenge was that you had a pirate flag and you couldn't let it touch the water or the ground
and if it did touch the water or the ground you are disqualified.

Day 3 Big foot on the field  3-17-2016
Today  rock climbing was my favourite.  The wall was nearly higher then my bedroom window. I was a bit nervous at the start but then afterwards  I managed to climb up the hard wall. The first time I couldn't climb up the hard wall but after a couple of goes I made it up to the very top and pressed the buzzer. My favourite was probably the easiest though because I liked climbing up really quickly. But my favourite part is coming down because it feels like your flying downwards.

Day 4 Rangitoto hike 3-18-2016

Today was the most tiring day of all .We climbed up to the top of Rangitoto  it was really hard work .I think it was worth it though we didn't get any food until we got to the top . I was glad to get on the fairy back so we could have lunch.
